CE301 CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
This course is an introduction to the philosophy and issues of Christian education and ministry, including both reflections on the theories of education and the personal qualities of the minister. This will be accomplished through lectures, reading, personal reflection, personal analysis and critical thinking (3 credit hours).
This course focuses on the following institutional learning outcome as it pertains to servant ministry in the church: The learner demonstrates understanding of the total ministry of the church in providing ministry to persons by implementing plans for involving a church in witnessing and ministering in a given context (3 credit hours).
CE401 CHURCH GROWTH AND MISSIONS
This course is a biblical study of the role and responsibilities of local churches in the task of global ministry. An analysis of the current model of missions and church growth, as it relates to the biblical pattern will be conducted. Special emphasis will be given to the development of a theology of church growth and global ministry based on New Testament principles. The student will develop a biblical model of the local church partnering with global missions (3 credit hours).
